You all are probably wondering who this artist girl is. My name is Kim and I'm an 18 year old girl from Houston, TX. I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, but my drawings haven't always been so, well....good. At first, all I could draw were stick figures and the average childlike drawings, but after time, PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! got me to where I am today. I draw for fun and nothing more than that.

The one undeniable truth as to where my talent comes from is from God and without Him, I wouldn't be where I am today. He's blessed me in so many ways, even with all the tribulations thrown my way, but I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Without Him, I am nothing.

As you can tell, drawing is my passion and it's something I do no matter how I feel. I know my talent is probably mediocre compared to the trillions of gifted people out there, but I'm thankful that I can even get my pictures to look like the things I'm drawing.

I don't know if I'll pursue art in the future, but it will always remain my hobby and my love for it will never perish. I also enjoy the gift of music, which I perform on the piano. My mother is a splendid, very gifted piano teacher who's been my mentor for the past twelve years, and so I have her to thank for the love I have for playing classical music. She's opened up a whole new world for me and it was something only she could give me. Aside from drawing, playing the piano and being a normal teen (or as normal a teen as my life permits me) I'm also a college freshmen this year at the University of St. Thomas, in Houston. I plan on majoring in Business and probably will minor in liberal arts. I haven't really decided what I really want to do with my life, but I'm fairly confident that I'll end up doing something productive by the grace of God.

Well, this was just a little way of going one on one with me, knowing who this person who draws too much, is. As you can tell, I have a lot of favorite subjects to draw, but I'm always open to new suggestions and if people have requests, I'd be glad to see what I could do with that. Thanks for visiting my gallery!
